Litecoin Casino: Playing and Betting With LTC at Jacks Club
How a litecoin casino works: depositing LTC on the right network, what the coin changes and what it does not, the games and sportsbook, and withdrawals.
If you're moving coins to a casino and back, speed and fees are what you notice, and that's where Litecoin earns its place. It works much like Bitcoin, it just gets there faster and usually costs less to send.
Here's how playing and betting with LTC works at Jacks Club, what the coin changes and what it doesn't, and what to check at any litecoin casino before you send a deposit.
Why Litecoin suits a crypto casino
Charlie Lee put Litecoin together from Bitcoin's code back in October 2011. The big practical difference is pace: a fresh Litecoin block turns up every two and a half minutes or so, where Bitcoin takes about ten, and sending it tends to cost less too. Supply is capped at 84 million coins.
For a player, the block time is the part that matters. A deposit needs a few network confirmations before it counts, and with blocks four times as frequent, that wait is a lot shorter than it would be in Bitcoin.
Depositing LTC
Pick Litecoin in the wallet, copy the deposit address it shows you and send from your own wallet or exchange. A few things are worth getting right first:
Send native LTC on the Litecoin network. Some exchanges also offer wrapped Litecoin on other chains. A token sent on the wrong network to a Litecoin address usually can't be recovered.
Check the minimum. Look up the minimum LTC deposit before you send, because an amount below it may not be credited.
Allow for confirmations. The deposit shows once the network has confirmed it, which with Litecoin's block time is normally a matter of minutes.
The coin moves, your stakes don't
Bets and balances show in dollars, so a $10 stake is $10 whether you funded it with LTC or anything else. What does move is the value of any Litecoin you're holding. If LTC drops 5% while your balance sits in it, so does your balance in dollar terms.
That's fine if you'd hold Litecoin anyway. If you'd rather your balance stayed put between sessions, a stablecoin does that job, and our Tether casino guide explains how.
What a Litecoin balance plays
The same games any other coin plays. Our 15 in-house games all publish their RTP: most run at 98%, Video Poker at 99%, and the new single-zero Roulette at 97.3%. All of them are provably fair, so you can check any result against its seeds.
LTC dice. Dice is the simplest place to start: pick a target, see the payout and the chance, and roll.
Slots and live tables. Provider games work with the same balance, with the RTP printed on each game.
In money terms, put $100 of Litecoin through a 98% game and the house expects to keep about $2 over the long run, or about $1 on Video Poker. The coin you pay with doesn't change that figure. If you want to know what those RTP figures actually mean, and how the provably fair check works, our guide to RTP and house edge covers it.
Litecoin sports betting
The same balance works on the sportsbook. Football, tennis, the NFL, MMA and a long list of esports are all on the board, with stakes in dollars and odds in decimal by default.
Singles are the cleanest way to bet. Combos multiply the odds, but they multiply the book's margin too, which our parlay guide works through with real numbers.
Rakeback and bonuses with LTC
Every bet you place earns XP for the VIP Club, whichever coin funded it. Rakeback, a weekly bonus and a monthly bonus all switch on at the first tier, and casino and sports bets count at the same rate. Current deposit offers and their terms are on the bonuses page.
Withdrawing Litecoin
Withdrawals go back out on the Litecoin network to the address you enter. Double-check it before you confirm, because a crypto transfer can't be reversed once it's sent. Litecoin's short block time means the network side of the trip is quick once the withdrawal is sent.
What to check at any litecoin casino
It accepts native LTC, not only a wrapped version on another chain.
Minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts, and any withdrawal fee.
Published RTP on the games, not just a claim that the odds are good.
Whether the in-house games are provably fair, and whether you can actually run the check.
Whether your Litecoin works on the sportsbook as well as the casino.
Common questions
Can you gamble with Litecoin?
Yes. At Jacks Club you can deposit LTC and use it across the casino and the sportsbook, with stakes shown in dollars.
How fast is a Litecoin deposit?
Usually a few minutes. Blocks come roughly every two and a half minutes, and the deposit shows as soon as it has the confirmations the wallet asks for.
Is Litecoin better than Bitcoin for gambling?
It's quicker to move and usually cheaper to send. The odds on the games are identical whichever coin you use, so it comes down to which coin you'd rather hold.
Can you bet on sports with Litecoin?
Yes. Your LTC balance covers the sportsbook as well as the casino, from football and tennis to esports.
