  1. Jacks Club
  2. Casino
  3. In House
  4. Roulette

Roulette is now an in-house game at Jacks Club. It runs on a single zero European wheel, the tile shows 97.3% RTP, and every spin comes with the seeds you need to check it afterwards. That last part is new. Our live roulette tables are real wheels filmed in a studio, which you watch and trust. This one you can audit.

How the crypto roulette table works

Pick a chip from the rack, click a spot on the layout, press Spin. That is the whole routine. Click the same spot again and another chip stacks on top.

The rack runs from 1 to 1b. A chip of 1 is worth the smallest unit of the coin you are playing with, so in Bitcoin it is one satoshi. A test spin can cost a fraction of a cent, and the same table takes a serious stake without a change of screen.

  • Your chips stay on the layout after each spin, so repeating a bet is one click on Spin.

  • Undo lifts the last chip you placed. Clear wipes the table.

  • Auto bet repeats the layout for you, spin after spin.

One formula sets every payout

The game's rules fit it into a single line: a winning spot pays 36 divided by the number of pockets it covers. Everything else on the layout follows from that.

  • Straight up, one number: pays 36x and lands 2.70% of the time.

  • Split, two numbers: pays 18x, lands 5.41% of the time.

  • Corner, four numbers: 9x, 10.81%.

  • Dozen or column, 12 numbers: 3x, 32.43%.

  • Red or black, odd or even, 1 to 18 or 19 to 36: 2x, 48.65%. Zero is none of these, so it beats every one of them.

Look at that formula again. It divides by 36, but the wheel has 37 pockets. The extra one is the green zero between 26 and 32, and no payout on the table counts it. That single uncounted pocket is the entire house edge: 1 in 37, or 2.70%. The 97.3% on the tile is the same number seen from the player's side.

It also settles the usual question of which bet is best value. None is. A straight up and a bet on red both cost 2.70% per spin; the straight up just swings far harder on the way. Our guide to roulette payouts and odds runs the same sum for every bet type, including the rules some tables use to shave that edge down.

Voisins, Tiers, Orphelins and Jeu zero

The four buttons above the numbers are the classic French sector bets. Each covers an arc of the wheel itself rather than a block of the layout, which is why the numbers they pick look scattered on the table.

  • Voisins du zero covers the 17 numbers from 22 round to 25, with zero in the middle. That is 45.9% of the wheel.

  • Tiers du cylindre takes the 12 numbers opposite zero, 27 through to 33. 32.4%.

  • Orphelins picks up the 8 left over, in two small arcs: 17, 34 and 6 on one side, 1, 20, 14, 31 and 9 on the other. 21.6%.

  • Jeu zero is the tight group of 7 closest to zero, from 12 to 15. 18.9%.

They are shortcuts, not a different game. Whatever mix of chips a sector button lays down, each chip sits on an ordinary spot priced by the same formula, so the cost is still 2.70% a spin. Players like them because they match the shape of the wheel, and covering one side can feel like a read on where the ball is heading. It is not. The ball has no favourite side.

Provably fair roulette: check any spin yourself

A studio's RNG table asks you to trust a certificate. A live wheel asks you to trust a camera. An in-house provably fair wheel asks for neither, because you can recompute the result.

Three inputs make each spin. A server seed that Jacks Club generates and shows you only as a hash while it is in use. A client seed, which you can change to any text you like. And a nonce, a counter that goes up by one with every bet. The game runs them through HMAC-SHA256, and because the server seed's hash is published before you play, that seed cannot be swapped once you have seen it.

To check a spin:

  • Open Fairness from the icons under the table. Note your client seed, the nonce and the hashed server seed.

  • Set your own client seed if you want a say in the result stream, then play.

  • Rotate the seed pair when you are done. The server seed you played against is revealed and a fresh hashed one replaces it.

  • On the verify page, choose Roulette and enter the client seed, the revealed server seed and the nonce of the spin you want.

  • It shows the pocket that spin had to land on. Then run the revealed seed through SHA-512 and SHA3-512 and confirm it gives the hash you saw before playing.

What this proves is narrow but real: the result was fixed before your chips went down, and nobody changed it afterwards. It does not make the 2.70% disappear. It also disposes of roulette predictors. To call the next pocket, a predictor would need the unhashed server seed, and that is exactly what stays hidden until you rotate the pair. Anything sold as one is guessing. Our page on how provably fair checks work goes further into the method.

What 97.3% RTP costs over a session

RTP is a long-run figure, so turn it into money. At a 2.70% edge, every $100 that goes round the wheel comes back as $97.30 on average. The cost follows how much you put through, not how much you arrive with.

Which is where speed matters. Say auto bet gets through 300 spins in an hour on a $1 layout. That is $300 wagered and an expected cost of about $8.11. A live dealer table might manage 50 spins in the same hour: $50 wagered, about $1.35. Same edge, six times the bill, purely from pace.

Short runs swing far more than the edge suggests. Two numbers worth knowing before you choose a unit size:

  • Back one number for 37 spins, its average wait, and it misses every single time about 36% of the time.

  • A run of five spins without red, zero included, comes round about once in 28 tries.

Pick a unit your balance can carry through runs like those, and set a loss limit before the first spin rather than after the fifth. Doubling after each loss does not fix any of it; it only moves the losing run onto a bigger bet. Our how to play roulette guide covers what strategy can and cannot do.

Bitcoin roulette from one satoshi

Roulette uses the same balance as the rest of the site, so there is no separate wallet to fund. Deposit in any of the 14 coins the wallet takes, Bitcoin, ETH and USDT among them, and the chips use that coin's unit. Withdrawals go back out in crypto too.

There is no demo mode here, and that is the honest answer to the free roulette question. The small chip is the practical alternative: a handful of one-satoshi spins costs next to nothing, and each one is a real spin with seeds you can check.

For longer sessions a stablecoin keeps things simpler. A USDT win stays worth what it said on screen. A Bitcoin win keeps moving with the market until you withdraw it, which adds a second swing on top of the wheel's.

When a live table is the cheaper seat

The in-house wheel is not automatically the cheapest roulette in the building. If you mostly bet red or black, odd or even, or high and low, look for a la partage table among the live games. Under la partage an even-money bet gets half its stake back when zero lands, which cuts the edge on those bets to 1.35%. Nothing in this wheel's rules hands back half a stake, so here zero takes the lot and the price stays at 2.70%.

On inside bets there is no difference at all. Any single zero wheel charges 2.70% on a straight up, split or corner. What the in-house wheel adds is everything a studio cannot: spins you can verify, chips from one satoshi and no dealer to wait for. That last one is also why it costs more per hour, as above.

More in-house games with checkable maths

Roulette sits in the in-house set alongside Dice, Keno, Crash and Mines, all on the same seed system. Worth knowing: most of those run at 98% RTP, a shade cheaper than roulette's 97.3%, and Video Poker returns 99%. The full list is on the in-house games page.

Common questions

Is Jacks Club roulette provably fair?

Yes. Each spin comes from a server seed, your client seed and a nonce, and once you rotate the seed pair you can recompute any result on the verify page.

Is it European or American roulette?

European, so single zero roulette: 37 pockets and no double zero. That keeps the edge at 2.70% rather than the 5.26% an American wheel takes.

What is the RTP of this roulette wheel?

97.3%, the same on every bet. Put the other way, a 2.70% house edge.

What is the most a single spin pays?

36x the chips on a winning straight up number, stake included.

Can I play roulette for free?

No, there is no demo mode. The smallest chip is one unit of your coin, a single satoshi in Bitcoin, so a trial spin costs almost nothing.

Does any roulette strategy beat 97.3%?

No. Every bet carries the same 2.70% edge, so a strategy can change how your balance swings but not what the wheel costs.

The wheel is at the top of this page. Pick a chip, place it and spin.
