Video poker is the one casino game where the decisions you make actually change what you get back. Slots pay what they pay. Roulette pays what it pays. In video poker, two players dealt the same hand on the same machine can walk away with different long run returns, because one of them held the right three cards and the other did not.
Jacks Club carries 116 video poker titles, and every one shows its return to player on the tile before you open it. That second fact matters more than the first.
The spread on this page is nearly seven points
Here is what the catalogue actually returns. First Person Video Poker from Evolution runs at 99.54%. DEUCES AND JOKERS from Red Rake Gaming returns 99.07%, and their BONUS DEUCES WILD 98.65%. The Habanero suite, which covers Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, Double Bonus Poker, Double Double Bonus Poker and All American Poker, sits at 96%. Magic Poker from Wazdan is 96.61%, Turbo Poker 95.94%, and Wazdan's own Joker Poker 95.01%. At the bottom, Three Card Poker from Boldplay returns 92.72%.
That is a range from 99.54% down to 92.72% on a single page. On 1,000 units wagered, the top of that range costs you about 5 units and the bottom costs about 73. Roughly sixteen times the price, for a game that looks nearly identical on screen.
Choosing which video poker game to open is worth more than every strategy decision you will make once you are inside it. That is not a slogan, it is the arithmetic above.
The same game name is not the same game
Joker Poker appears twice in the catalogue. The Habanero version returns 96%. The Wazdan version returns 95.01%. Same name, same rules to look at, a full point apart in what it gives back.
This is the single most useful habit to build: read the RTP on the tile, not the title. Video poker names describe the paytable family, not the paytable. Two studios can ship a game called Double Bonus Poker with different payouts on a full house or a flush, and those two lines are usually where the difference lives.
Why strategy matters here and nowhere else
Every published video poker return figure assumes you play the hand correctly. Draw badly and you will not get 99.54%, you will get whatever your decisions earn. That is the opposite of a slot, where the return is fixed no matter what you press.
The gap is real but smaller than the marketing around it suggests. Poor play on a high return game typically costs a couple of points, which puts a 99% machine roughly where a 97% machine sits when played perfectly. So strategy is worth learning, and it is worth less than picking the right game in the first place. Do the cheap thing first.
Multi hand does not change the odds
Much of the catalogue comes in 1 hand, 10 hand and 50 hand versions, and the Habanero titles cover all three. The return to player is identical across them.
What changes is the size of your bet and the shape of the results. Fifty hands means fifty times the stake per deal and a far tighter distribution: fewer dry runs, fewer outsized nights, the same expected cost. If your bankroll is planned around single hand play, a 50 hand version of the same game will empty it fifty times faster while returning exactly the same percentage. Choose the format for the variance you want, and adjust the bet accordingly.
Our own video poker
Alongside the third party catalogue we run Video Poker in house at 99% return, which is the lowest house edge of any game we operate. It is also provably fair, which the third party titles are not.
Provably fair means the server commits to the deal before it happens by publishing a hashed seed, and afterwards you can combine that seed with your own and recompute the result to confirm nothing moved in between. The method is documented on the provably fair page. Third party video poker runs under its provider's own certification instead, which is a different kind of assurance and worth knowing apart.
What is actually in the category
Most of the 116 titles are true draw poker machines: you are dealt five cards, you hold what you want, and the replacements decide the hand. A few are table poker games that sit in the same category, including Ultimate Texas Holdem from JILI at 97% and Three Card Poker from Boldplay. Those play against a dealer rather than a paytable, so treat them as a different game with different maths.
Live tables sit in live casino, and if you want a dealer game with a genuinely low edge, blackjack is the better comparison.
Playing video poker with crypto
Deposits, play and withdrawals run in BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, XRP, TRON, TON and SOL, with no fiat rails anywhere on the site. Video poker is a low variance, long session game, so a lot of players prefer to sit in a stablecoin and keep the coin price out of the result. Our USDT page covers that argument properly.
New accounts should check the deposit bonus terms first, since contribution rates vary by game type and video poker is often weighted differently to slots.
If you want the underlying maths
Return to player, house edge and how provably fair verification works are covered in full in our RTP and house edge explainer. Everything on this page rests on those three ideas.
Common questions
What is the highest RTP video poker game at Jacks Club?
First Person Video Poker from Evolution, at 99.54%. DEUCES AND JOKERS from Red Rake Gaming is close behind at 99.07%, and our own in house Video Poker returns 99%.
Can I play video poker with Bitcoin?
Yes. All 116 titles are funded from your normal balance, so BTC, USDT, USDC and the six other coins we accept all work with no conversion step.
Does playing more hands improve my odds?
No. A 50 hand version returns the same percentage as the 1 hand version of the same game. It multiplies your stake and tightens the spread of results, which is a choice about variance, not about value.
Which is better, video poker or slots?
Video poker generally returns more and rewards correct play, where a slot returns the same regardless of what you do. The trade is that video poker asks you to learn the hand, and the published figures assume you have.
Why do two games with the same name have different RTP?
Because the paytable differs by studio. Joker Poker returns 96% from Habanero and 95.01% from Wazdan. Always read the figure on the tile rather than assuming the name tells you the return.
Is video poker provably fair here?
Our in house Video Poker is. The 116 third party titles are certified by their own providers instead, which is a separate system and does not let you recompute an individual hand yourself.
