Funky Time Live Casino
Play Funky Time at JacksClub and step into Evolution’s disco-themed live casino game show, where a colorful DigiWheel, random multipliers and four interactive bonus games combine in every session.
Funky Time takes the money-wheel concept and gives it a 1970s-inspired makeover. The action centers on Evolution’s digital DigiWheel, which generates random multipliers and assigns them to different segments during each round. Alongside the main-game letter segments, players can target Bar, Stayin’ Alive, Disco and VIP Disco for access to four very different bonus experiences.
How to Play Funky Time
Before the DigiWheel spins, choose the positions you want to bet on and enter your stake.
The main wheel contains 24 letter segments, each offering a default payout of 25:1. There are also segments corresponding to the four Funky Time bonus games.
During each round, the DigiWheel dynamically generates random multipliers and assigns them to selected segments.
If the wheel stops on a letter you've backed, you receive the corresponding payout, potentially enhanced by an attached multiplier.
Landing on a bonus segment you've selected takes you into that feature.
Funky Time Bonus Games
Funky Time has four bonus games:
BarStayin' AliveDiscoVIP Disco
Each uses completely different gameplay, giving Funky Time considerably more variety than a straightforward live money-wheel game.
Multipliers applied to bonus segments during the main wheel spin can also carry into the corresponding feature and increase its potential payout.
Bar Bonus
The Bar bonus takes players into the disco club's bar, where a robot bartender and three glasses determine the outcome.
You begin by selecting one of the three glasses.
The bartender then pours the drinks, with random multipliers assigned to each glass. A single-reel slot subsequently generates another multiplier, which is randomly applied to one of the glasses and multiplies its original value.
If Bar received an additional multiplier during the main DigiWheel spin, that value is applied afterwards and multiplies the values in all three glasses.
Stayin' Alive Bonus
Stayin' Alive introduces a 90-ball drawing machine and a 20-level multiplier ladder.
You start at the 5x level with four lives and choose between the green, pink or orange teams. The color of the balls drawn determines whether your team progresses up the multiplier ladder.
Matching 1-step balls move your team up one level, while matching 2-step balls move it up two.
Black STOP balls remove a life.
The feature ends once all four lives have been lost, with your payout determined by the multiplier level your team has reached.
The ladder climbs all the way to 10,000x.
Disco Bonus
Disco takes the action onto a virtual 37-square dance floor.
Mr Funky begins in the center while the presenter uses an eight-segment mini wheel to determine whether he moves up, down, left or right.
As Mr Funky travels around the dance floor, he can collect Regular multipliers. These values are added together to build the potential payout.
Floor multipliers can also appear, doubling the values of five randomly selected Regular multiplier squares.
The feature continues until Mr Funky moves beyond the edge of the dance floor.
VIP Disco Bonus
VIP Disco uses the same basic concept as Disco but expands the action onto a much larger 63-square dance floor.
Mr Funky's movements are again controlled by the directional mini wheel, while Regular and Floor multipliers can increase the accumulated total.
Because the VIP Disco dance floor is larger than the standard Disco feature, there's more space for Mr Funky to move around before potentially falling off the edge.
Any multiplier assigned to the VIP Disco segment during the main DigiWheel spin is applied to the Regular multipliers before the dancing begins.
Funky Time Multipliers
Multipliers are central to Funky Time.
The DigiWheel can dynamically assign random multipliers to different segments during the main round. If the wheel subsequently lands on an enhanced position you've backed, the multiplier affects the qualifying payout.
Bonus multipliers can be particularly important because they're carried into Bar, Stayin' Alive, Disco or VIP Disco.
This means the potential value of a bonus can vary considerably from one round to another.
Funky Time RTP
JacksClub currently lists Funky Time with a 95.99% RTP.
RTP stands for Return to Player and represents the theoretical proportion of stakes returned to players across a very large number of wagers.
At 95.99% RTP, the corresponding theoretical house edge is 4.01%.
RTP doesn't predict your personal results. An individual Funky Time session can finish significantly above or below the theoretical percentage.
Always check the current information displayed within the JacksClub game before betting, particularly where different betting positions may have different theoretical returns.
Funky Time vs Crazy Time
Funky Time is often compared with Crazy Time because both are large-scale Evolution game shows built around money wheels, multipliers and multiple bonus games.
Crazy Time has Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time.
Funky Time replaces these with Bar, Stayin' Alive, Disco and VIP Disco. It also uses Evolution's digital DigiWheel rather than following exactly the same physical-wheel format as Crazy Time. Evolution describes Funky Time as its biggest game show since Crazy Time.
If you enjoy Crazy Time but want completely different bonus mechanics, Funky Time is a natural game to try next.
Funky Time vs Lightning Storm
Lightning Storm is another Evolution game show using DigiWheel technology.
The biggest difference is the bonus structure. Lightning Storm has five features – Hot Spot, Monster Mash, Battery Charger, Fireball and Lightning Storm – while Funky Time uses its four disco-themed bonuses.
Funky Time is heavily themed around its nightclub setting, while Lightning Storm uses a mad-scientist laboratory theme.
Both provide considerably more feature variety than conventional live roulette or baccarat.
Can You Use a Funky Time Strategy?
There's no Funky Time strategy capable of predicting where the DigiWheel will stop or which multipliers will appear.
Previous results don't make a particular letter or bonus game more likely on the following round.
Likewise, a long period without VIP Disco doesn't mean that feature is suddenly due.
You can choose which positions to cover and control your stake, but increasing the number of bets also increases your total amount wagered.
