How to bet on snooker with Bitcoin and crypto. Frame handicaps, century breaks and outrights explained, plus the 2026/27 World Snooker Tour calendar.
Snooker Betting with Bitcoin: Markets, Odds and the 2026/27 Calendar
Snooker is one of the most bettable sports there is. It is one against one, every frame produces a clear winner, and the scoring is visible on screen at all times. If you are betting snooker with Bitcoin or another crypto, the deposit side is quick enough to get a bet on mid session.
This guide covers the markets, how to read the prices, and what is on across the 2026/27 season.
Why snooker works well for betting
It is a two horse race. No draws in knockout matches, no third outcome. Every match settles to one winner, which keeps the match market clean.
Matches are long. Early rounds might be best of seven frames, but finals stretch much further, up to best of 35 at the World Championship played across four sessions. Long matches mean form has time to show, and it reduces the chance of a single fluke deciding your bet.
Everything is measurable. Frames won, century breaks, highest break, safety exchanges. Snooker generates more countable events than almost any other one on one sport, which is why the market list is deeper than you might expect.
The main snooker betting markets
Match winner. The simplest bet and the most liquid. Straight two way pricing.
Frame handicap. A favourite might be priced at -2.5 frames, meaning they need to win by three or more. Where most of the value sits when a top player faces a qualifier.
Correct score. The exact frame result. In a best of seven that is a manageable set of outcomes and the odds are generous.
Total frames. Over or under a line. Effectively a bet on whether the match is competitive or a whitewash.
Highest break. Which player makes the biggest break in the match, or whether a break passes a set figure.
Century break in match. Yes or no on a 100+ break being made. Popular because it depends on scoring form rather than who wins.
Outright winner. The tournament itself. Prices open weeks ahead and move sharply as the draw opens up.
Reading the odds
In decimal odds, multiply your stake by the number for your total return, so 1.60 turns a 10 stake into 16 back. In American odds a favourite at -180 means staking 180 to win 100, while an underdog at +250 returns 250 profit on a 100 stake.
A habit worth building in snooker: compare the match winner price against the frame handicap. Top players beat qualifiers regularly, but they often do it 4-2 rather than 4-0, because a single loose safety can hand over a frame. Backing a heavy favourite on the match line pays very little, while the handicap frequently offers a fairer price for only slightly more risk.
The 2026/27 World Snooker Tour season
The season runs from 22 June 2026 to 9 May 2027 and features 23 tournaments, 18 of them ranking events. That is close to year round coverage, with only a short summer gap.
The three biggest events are known as the Triple Crown:
UK Championship, 28 November to 6 December 2026 at the York Barbican
The Masters, 10 to 17 January 2027 at Alexandra Palace in London
World Championship, 17 April to 3 May 2027 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield
Also worth marking down: the China Open returns from 8 to 16 August 2026 in Taiyuan, its first staging since 2019. The Wuhan Open follows from 23 to 29 August, the English Open runs 7 to 13 September at the Brentwood Centre, and the International Championship takes place in Nanjing from 31 October to 7 November.
Later in the season the Players Championship is in Telford from 2 to 7 March 2027 and the Tour Championship in Manchester from 29 March to 4 April.
Things worth knowing before you bet
Format changes everything. A best of seven early round is close to a coin flip between decent players. A best of 25 semi final heavily favours the better player. Always check the match length before backing an underdog.
Table conditions matter. Some venues play faster than others, and heavy scoring correlates with the table rather than just the player. This shows up most in century break and total frames markets.
Multi session matches turn. A player trailing 6-2 overnight at the Crucible is not finished. Comebacks from that position happen most seasons, so in play prices after a first session can be worth a look.
Ranking events versus invitationals. Motivation differs. Players chasing ranking points approach a ranking event differently from an exhibition style invitational, and it shows in results.
Betting snooker with crypto
The practical case is simple. Deposits confirm in minutes rather than sitting in a card authorisation queue, which matters when a session is already underway and you want to bet in play. Withdrawals go out the same way, with no bank in between deciding whether a gambling transaction is allowed.
At Jacks Club you can deposit in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, XRP, TRON, TON or Solana. Snooker sits alongside football, NFL, NBA, NHL, tennis, cricket, volleyball and esports in the sportsbook, and minimum stakes are low enough to take small positions across a full tournament rather than one large bet on a final.
One trade off worth naming: crypto prices move. Hold a balance in Bitcoin across a whole season and its dollar value will have changed regardless of how your bets went. Many bettors keep their balance in USDT or USDC for that reason, since those track the dollar.
Common questions
Can you bet on snooker with Bitcoin?
Yes. Any crypto sportsbook carrying snooker offers the same markets available to fiat customers. Deposit, place the bet, withdraw in the same coin.
What is the best snooker bet for beginners?
Match winner first, then frame handicap. Both are easy to reason about. Century break markets are a good next step because they depend on scoring form rather than predicting a winner.
Can a snooker match end in a draw?
Not in knockout play. Matches continue until one player reaches the required number of frames. Some group stage formats allow drawn matches, so check the rules for those events.
What is a maximum break?
147, made by potting all fifteen reds with fifteen blacks then clearing the colours. Rare enough that most tournaments pass without one, which is why maximum break markets carry very long odds.
When is the World Snooker Championship?
17 April to 3 May 2027, at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
