Chat now gets translated into your language. As soon as a message is sent it gets translated into all 19 languages on the site, and you see it in the one you use.

How it works?

• No setting to turn on. Chat just goes by your site language. You set that at the bottom of the menu, and if you change it the room reloads in the new language.

• Seeing the original. A translated message has a small (i) next to the reply button. Tap it to see what the person actually typed.

• Your own messages. These show exactly how you typed them. Messages already in your language get left alone as well.

• Replies. The quoted message above a reply is translated too.

Six new languages

The site itself is now also available in Hindi, Polish, Thai, Vietnamese, Finnish and Danish, on top of the thirteen it already had. You can pick yours from the language menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
