Stake Casino vs Jacks Club: House Edge, Games and Rewards
What is Stake, and how does Stake Casino compare with Jacks Club? House edge on originals, game library, VIP rakeback, sportsbook and coins, side by side.
Stake is one of the biggest names in crypto gambling, so if you're weighing up where to play, it's the obvious site to hold us up against. We've done that here, section by section, using Stake's own pages as they stood on 16 September 2026 and ours as they stood on 6 October 2026, after we added in-house Blackjack and Roulette. Where Stake comes out ahead, we've said so.
What is Stake?
Stake is really two sites. Stake.com is the crypto casino and sportsbook, run by Medium Rare N.V. in Curacao and licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. Stake.us is a separate social casino for the US. It describes itself as free to play, says it doesn't offer real money gambling, and runs on Gold Coins, which have no cash value, and Stake Cash, which can be redeemed for crypto prizes.
When people search for Stake Casino they usually mean Stake.com, so that's the version we compare with Jacks Club below.
Stake Casino and Jacks Club at a glance
Operator. Stake.com: Medium Rare N.V., Curacao. Jacks Club: Spades Limited, Costa Rica, licence ALSI-202507028-FI2.
In-house games. Stake: a long list of Originals, most at 99% RTP. Jacks Club: 16 in-house games, most at 98% RTP, with Blackjack at 99.43%.
Game library. Stake quotes 6,000+ casino games. Our slots section alone listed 7,087 games on 6 October.
Sportsbook. Both have one, with esports alongside the usual sports.
Coins. Stake accepts more than 20 cryptocurrencies. We accept 14.
Rewards. Stake publishes a rakeback rate from its Bronze tier. Ours starts at the first tier, but the per-tier rates aren't published.
House edge on in-house games: Stake is cheaper
This is the part that matters most if you play originals, and it's the one where Stake wins. Stake's Dice, Limbo, Crash, Plinko, Mines, Keno, HiLo, Wheel and Video Poker are all listed at 99% RTP, a 1% house edge. Our Crash, Dice, Plinko, Mines, Keno, Hilo and Wheel run at 98%, which is a 2% edge.
In money terms, put $1,000 through one of those games and the house expects to keep about $10 at Stake and $20 with us. Over a long session that gap is real, and no amount of provably fair maths changes it.
A few games are level. Video Poker is 99% on both sites. Several of Stake's Originals, like Dragon Tower and Flip, sit at 98%, the same as our Tower and Coin Flip. Our in-house Blackjack now matches Stake's at 99.43%, and our single-zero Roulette matches its 97.30%. Baccarat is the gap that's left: Stake has an in-house version at 98.90%, while ours comes from providers, with the RTP shown on each tile.
Both sites let you verify in-house results with seeds. Our guide to RTP, house edge and provably fair explains how that works, and the in-house games section lists all 16 of ours.
Game library
Both catalogues are big enough that you won't run out of slots. Stake's casino page quotes more than 6,000 games. On our side, the slots section listed 7,087 games on 6 October, with 543 in table games and 493 in the live casino. A game can sit in more than one of those, so the three numbers don't add up to a total.
Those numbers shift every week as studios join or leave. What's worth checking is simpler: does the site have the providers whose games you already like?
VIP, rakeback and rewards
Stake's VIP ladder begins at Bronze, once you've wagered $10,000, then runs through Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond up to Obsidian at $1 billion. Rakeback kicks in at Bronze at 3.5% of the house edge, and it's paid in cash. Sports bets count three times toward VIP progress.
Our VIP Club has ten tiers, from Iron at $5k XP to Royalty at $100M. Five benefits switch on at Iron and stay on all the way up: a level up reward, rakeback, a weekly bonus, a monthly bonus and a reload bonus. A dollar wagered on slots earns the same XP as one on live tables or the sportsbook.
Where Stake has the edge is transparency. It tells you its rakeback rate up front, and we don't publish ours per tier. Your current rate shows in your account, and from Platinum upwards an account manager confirms it. What we can say is that rakeback switches on at our very first tier, Iron. There's also a deposit bonus of up to $20,000 across your first four deposits, with the terms on our bonuses page.
Sportsbook
Both sites run a full sportsbook with esports alongside the traditional sports. The differences are in the details. Stake counts sports wagers at three times the rate for VIP progress, which suits a mostly sports player. We count casino and sports the same, which suits someone who does a bit of both.
Our sportsbook carries markets like Bet Builder and handicaps across football, tennis, the NFL, MMA and esports.
Coins and payments
Stake takes more than 20 cryptocurrencies. We take 14, namely Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC, XRP, Tron, Toncoin, Solana, BNB, Polygon, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Cardano. Hold something that isn't on our list? Then Stake is the easier fit.
At Jacks Club your bets are shown in dollars. If you'd rather your balance didn't move while a bet or withdrawal is pending, hold it in a stablecoin like USDT or USDC.
Which one suits you?
If you mainly play originals like Dice, Crash, Plinko or Mines, Stake's 99% RTP is the better price, and it's hard to argue otherwise. The same goes if you want a published rakeback rate or a coin we don't take.
Jacks Club makes more sense if you want rewards from the first tier, one XP rate across casino and sports, or a slots catalogue that went past 7,000 games when we counted. Whichever site you go with, look up the RTP on the few games you play most, because that number will cost or save you more than anything else on this page.
Common questions
What is Stake?
Stake.com is a crypto casino and sportsbook run by Medium Rare N.V. and licensed in Curacao. Stake.us is a separate US social casino that uses Gold Coins and Stake Cash rather than real money bets.
Is Stake.us the same as Stake.com?
No. They share a brand, but Stake.us is a social casino with its own operator and currency system, while Stake.com is the crypto casino and sportsbook.
Does Stake have better odds than Jacks Club?
On most in-house games, yes. Stake lists games like Dice, Crash and Plinko at 99% RTP, while ours run at 98%. Video Poker, Blackjack and Roulette are level, at 99%, 99.43% and 97.3%, and provider games carry the RTP set by each studio.
Which has better rewards, Stake or Jacks Club?
It depends how you play. Stake publishes a 3.5% of house edge rakeback from Bronze and weights sports bets three times for VIP. Jacks Club starts rakeback at its first tier and counts casino and sports XP at the same rate, but doesn't publish per-tier rates.
